Autometer: Autometer Gauges Set

SINCE 1957

The motivation behind AutoMeter is to provide performance enthusiasts the knowledge they need to succeed. For more than 60 years, they have altered the way that racers and vehicle manufacturers view instrumentation and vehicle electronics. Vern Westberg established AutoMeter in 1957. In the beginning, Vern would pour sand castings in his backyard while his sons helped him put together things at night in their basement.

From their quick-response tachometers and rev control tachometers to their high-tech LCD Competition data acquisition systems, they have created several items that are industry leaders. For reliability, durability, and accuracy, they have established the bar. Modern engineering processes, cutting-edge manufacturing facilities for cellular devices, and industry-leading product technologies are all available to us today.

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

AutoMeter Products, Inc. is a high-tech business with headquarters in Sycamore, Illinois, in the United States. It has a cutting-edge cellular manufacturing facility, a world-class ISO 9000:TS 16949 Certified Quality System, a talented engineering staff, and products with unrivaled technology in the instrumentation industry. AutoMeter has four more divisions that serve niche markets in addition to the more well-known AutoMeter High Performance business, which focuses on vehicle instrumentation and electronics for performance and racing:

• The AutoMeter Original Equipment Division, which develops specialized instrumentation for mass-produced automobiles in collaboration with significant clients.
• The AutoMeter Pro-Cycle Division, which develops and manufactures goods exclusively for the motorbike sector.
• The Marine Division of AutoMeter, which manufactures equipment for waterborne vehicles.
• The division of AutoMeter Test Equipment that manufactures high-quality automotive battery and electrical chargers and tests for auto repair and fleet maintenance.

In 2007, AutoMeter added two new businesses to its performance family by purchasing Stack, Ltd. of England, a company known for its dash displays and data acquisition systems and with roots in Formula 1 instrumentation, and Dedenbear Products, a manufacturer of throttle stops, delay boxes, and drag racing electronics. The prospects offered by these relationships excite AutoMeter, and as a result, the company is introducing a number of innovative products to the market, including the Ultra-Lite Pro Data Acquisition System, the Dedenbear STS Throttle Stop, and the Stack Pro-Control Professional Stepper Motor Gauges.

Born on the high speed ovals of NASCAR and perfected on road courses and drag strips all over the world, Spek-Pro gauges are some of the most sophisticated instruments ever created. In 2012, AutoMeter expanded once more with the acquisition of ProParts LLC. ProParts Spek gauges are now part of AutoMeter's expanding portfolio of motorsports products, allowing them to provide the greatest features for any application.
