We will inevitably be out of step with those around us when we are marching to a different drummer. This requires commitment, bravery, and decency. But with God's enabling grace, we are able to be both strangely and actually different.

We will not be in step with the world when we walk with the Lord. Some will despise you while others will adore you; some will flatter while others will slight;

Give up on men, lift your gaze to the sky, put your trust in God, and act morally.

Satan's question is clever because it avoids the risks associated with open lying. An accusation teeters on the edge of embarrassing itself. 

But if you only pose a query, nobody has the right to brand you a liar or a slanderer.

Furthermore, a query averts penalties. If you have only posed a query, it is difficult for someone to attack you. You are unlikely to be sued or dragged into court. However, Satan's question savaged the intentions of a nice man by claiming that all of Job's goodness was a mask for greed.

Let's resist the urge to ask a mean question and stop to consider that we would be participating in the devil's game. We were not given the power to destroy others with our words; rather, we were given the power to uplift them. We should be kind to others not just in front of them but also

Do we follow God's standards or do we live by the prevailing opinion, modeling our behavior after what we observe others doing? If we wish to please Him, the solution to this question will come to us.

 From their experiences in the desert, the ancient Israelites understood that rocks were more than just clumps of stone. A rock could protect you from an unexpected storm. It might offer a refreshing shadow against the stifling heat. It served as a fortress and a haven from foes (Psalm 61:2–3, 62:1–2, and Isaiah 32:2). 

That is why David's references to the Lord as "my rock and my salvation" (Psalm 62:6) and "my strength, and my refuge" (v.7) have such significance. David was well aware of the value of a rock in trying circumstances.

We find our rock of salvation in the One who, through His Son, freed us from the bonds of sin, just as the Hebrews did when they discovered their rock of salvation in the Lord who led them out of Egypt. We can cling to Him in faith when trouble threatens to overtake us, grateful that our Rock is our steadfast fortress.

 How frequently do we make the mistake of excluding God from our decision-making? When given a decision, the best option occasionally seems plain to us and those around us. But if we don't ask the Lord to guide us toward the truth, we can draw the incorrect conclusion. 

Samuel carried out the action as he went to anoint the next king of Israel. Samuel knew he had his man when he spotted Eliab, Jesse's oldest son. Wrong! In actuality, God choose little David, the least likely of Jesse's sons. Samuel only saw the surface of this guy, despite the fact that he was a man after God's own heart (Acts 13:22).

The need of involving God in decision-making extends to churches as well. We are tempted to focus solely on appearances while looking for a new pastor or someone to oversee a church program. We should be worried about things like communication skills, kindness, and inspirational potential. We haven't looked far enough if we haven't prayed to God to help us see past outward manifestations to the heart. The Lord can read people's hearts; we cannot. When someone is intently pursuing Him, He is aware of it.

It can be terrible when we start meddling in other people's affairs while neglecting the responsibilities that God has given us. Beware of "cuckoo" conduct, Christian! Instead, faithfully carry out the task that God has given you.

Nobody who keeps to themselves is unemployed. We must refrain from interfering in matters that are not our responsibility; instead, let's carry out the tasks God has given us according to His plan.

 Satan entices Eve to question God's character in order to seduce her. According to what he said to Eve, "God knows that the day you eat of [the forbidden fruit], your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil" (Genesis 3:5). 

The implication from Satan was that "God has a hidden agenda, and it is an evil one." The devil understood that the temptation would succeed once Eve began to question God's goodness. 

We might not believe that we have any doubts about God. But that's exactly what we do when things happen in our life that cause us to doubt Him. Though we rarely do so, we occasionally lose faith in His goodness. And that is a belief-defeating notion!

Never doubt the goodness of God. We may rely on God to provide us with ideal gifts, even when our hardships appear to be beyond our comprehension (Jas. 1:17).

 The words of the second verse of Genesis 12 struck me with new meaning while I was reading it. When I previously examined this section of Scripture, I was preoccupied with the promises to Abraham and the people of Israel, and I failed to see how they applied to every Christian. 

Abraham received this promise from the Lord: "I will bless you, and you shall be a blessing." He was favored to favor! The benefits he obtained were not for his own egotistical gratification, but rather for the good and advancement of others.

The same holds true for modern believers. The marvelous work of grace that the Lord has performed in our lives is something He wants us to spread to others. We who have put our faith in Jesus and reaped the rewards of salvation were "saved" to "save." Christ redeems us even though our relationship with Him makes us feel good about ourselves so that we can "preach the gospel to every creature" (Mk. 16:15). In a similar way, God gives us comfort in our suffering "so that we may be able to give comfort to those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (2 Corinthians 1:4). 

You have received blessings to share! Allow the Lord to use you in His service.

God freely gives to us so that we might generously offer to others. I pray: "Make me a channel of blessing today"; "My life be possessed, my service be blessed, Make me a channel of blessing today."

 When Jesus' disciples requested Him to teach them how to pray, He responded by giving an example. When they prayed, they were instructed to say, "When you pray, say," and He provided them a pattern that also included some general guidelines for prayer. 

We can learn to incorporate at least four of these elements into our prayers: adoration, confession, temptation protection, and supplication. Think about the ACTS of prayer.

Prayer of praise: "Hallowed be Your name." Our magnificent and awesome God deserves our loyalty and reverence. 

We're asking for forgiveness for our sins. God is "faithful and just to forgive us" (1 John 1:9). 

In order to avoid temptation, pray "Do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." To say no to sin, seek assistance. 

Request: "Give us day by day our daily bread." We shouldn't be reluctant to enlist God's provision in our prayers.

Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. — 2 Corinthians 4:16

The environment inside the plane doesn't change even while the outside is under extreme strain.

Paul highlighted how our "outward man" perishes under intense heat but our "inward man" is continually rejuvenated in the Scripture for today. Observe the contrast

Through Christ, we too can find inner strength when facing adversity (v. 11). Our responsibility is to use the Bible and prayer to renew our minds each day (Eph. 4:23) and to look beyond the fleeting to the everlasting (v. 18).

God's Word renews our thoughts, and God's Spirit gives us new energy. You cannot rely on your own strength;

There is a source of grace and strength in the heavens;

Visit that source to replenish your strength, and the life of Christ will be shown in you.

 Relaxing and fully trusting in God will bring about immense blessings and fresh vigor for those who know Christ and are living in relationship with Him. This keeps them from becoming overly stressed. They can confidently declare, "Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You" (56:3), just like the psalmist did. 

Sit down and study some Scripture when life is hectic and it seems like everything is about to "fall apart." Tell the heavenly Father about your worries and give them to Him when you quiet your heart in prayer. When you resume where you left off, you'll be able to overcome your challenges knowing that He will guide you and give you the strength you need for every endeavor.

You won't have anything to worry about if you give God your problems. It's only a matter of believing Jesus every day, through turbulent waters, and even when my faith is weak.
