Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God. — 1 John 4:7

A two-way street is love. Any act of love must be warmly welcomed; else, it will be interpreted as rejection and may cause damage. We are too busy if we are unable to express and receive love. Nothing is more crucial than answering the call for love from those who are close to and dear to us with love.

The only thing more expensive than loving is not loving. We fervently pray to the Lord, "Teach us the secret of loving, The love You are asking today; Then help us to love one another."

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to Him. — Revelation 3:20

Amazing! All things were made through Christ (Col. 1:16), and Christ comes to dwell in the heart of the sinner to experience a personal connection with God. That is the new birth's marvel.

However, if our love for Jesus becomes tepid, we risk losing this closeness. To restore this feeling of intimacy, He appears in Rev. 3:20 as waiting to be allowed in while standing outside the door of our hearts. That tight relationship can be damaged by disobedience, but it can be repaired by confessing our sins, reopening our hearts to Him, and allowing Him to regain full control. Jesus desires for us to constantly know that He is even less than 10 inches away.

Review Christ's love for you in order to refresh your devotion to him. How tragic when the flames of love fade in hearts that once knew their warmth!
However, Christ will freely give grace and make that love once more radiant.

The tax collector . . . beat his breast, saying, “God, be merciful to me a sinner!" — Luke 18:13

No one will ever be delivered as long as they rationalize their wicked actions. Only once he acknowledges, "I am a sinner and cannot save myself," will the Lord deliver him from sin and its terrible repercussions. In Luke 18, the arrogant and boastful Pharisee was forgotten. Nevertheless, the tax collector admitted his wrongdoing and "went down to his house justified" (v. 14).

Admit your sin and accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior, if you have never done so before. Keep in mind that only sinners can be saved.

The worst sinner can become the best saint through the power of Jesus. Nothing but what I received has been given to me by grace since I began to believe; boasting is excluded, pride I abhor—I am merely a sinner redeemed by grace!

The Lord avenges and is furious. . . . The Lord is good, . . . and He knows those who trust in Him. — Nahum 1:2,7

Personally, I would find it difficult to believe in a God that never loses patience and does not punish sin. A god like that would not be a good one. What would you think, for instance, of a witness to a horrific murder who showed no emotion and showed no interest in seeing the offender punished? Would you judge such a person to be morally upright? Hardly!

God grants us free will and frequently allows us to follow through on our poor decisions. But He holds us responsible, and He will pass judgment on us.

The Ninevites were a terrible race that carried out unspeakable atrocities in Nahum's day. However, the prophet reassured the Israelites that God had seen their wrongdoing, was offended by it, and would punish them fairly.

I'm grateful that God has that level of moral rectitude. It gives me cause to believe that He will honor all of His commitments, and it gives me confidence that He will make up for all the wrongs of the past.

Even while God's wrath won't come right away, it will eventually. Don't be deceived, God's eyes aren't closed; He'll judge us all at some point, even though it sometimes looks that sin is ignored and evil has the upper hand.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises. — Hebrews 11:13

According to the verse in Hebrews 11:11, "by faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive." The Lord, however, said, "My grace is sufficient for you" (2 Cor. 12:9) in response to the apostle Paul's prayer that his unnamed "thorn in the flesh" be removed, and the "thorn" persisted. Even Christ pleaded with His heavenly Father to spare Him the pain of Calvary, but He also said, "Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours, be done" (Luke 22:42).

Our faith is in You, Lord, whether or not Your answer to our fervent prayers and deepest longings comes. Please make it our goal to seek Your will above all else. Amen.

God always has a positive explanation for any negative response. I prayed, with a long-delayed response.
brought nothing that I was looking for, but He responded better to my request than I could have imagined.

If you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. — Matthew 6:15

Some of life's hurts are so severe and agonizing that it may be difficult to forgive those responsible. However, Jesus claims that if we have an unforgiving spirit, we will not be able to experience His forgiveness.  Forgiveness is not a form of 'holy amnesia' that erases the past, according to someone. The sensation of healing is what actually removes the poison from the wound.  God expects us to return the favor He has shown to us via Jesus Christ to others. He'll empower us to extend forgiveness. We should always be able to forgive others since we all need it.  Lord Jesus, grant us grace daily so that we may walk in Your path, especially when a hurting soul needs our forgiveness in order to be healed.    ======================================================================= What is the true meaning of forgive? What does forgive mean in the Bible? What are the 3 types of forgiveness? Can you forgive someone and still be hurt? Can you love someone you can't forgive? How long does it take to truly forgive someone? What is the hardest part of forgiveness? How do you forgive someone who continually hurts you? What is it called when you can't forgive someone? Is it OK to never forgive someone? Can you accept but not forgive? Can you forgive someone and still not want to be around them?

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. — Psalm 139:14

Where can we go for assistance when we encounter challenges in life and are unable to get things to function properly? Doesn't it make logical that the One who created us is perfectly suited to provide the essential assistance we require? This fact gave the psalmist David a lot of comfort. "You formed my inner parts; You encased me in my mother's womb," he wrote. I will give You praise because You are a brilliant artist and I am fearfully and wonderfully fashioned. How priceless Your thoughts are to me as well, God! How impressive is the total of them? (Ps. 139:13-14,17).  As it was then, God's assistance is still available now. Who better to understand what we need than the One who created us?You are covered by God's lifetime guarantee. All that I am, which You, Lord, have fashioned me into, I owe to You. I give thanks to You for creating me, and I am in awe of Your amazing works.   ======================================================================= What is the meaning of warranty to?What is difference warranty and guarantee? What is a simple example of warranty? How does warranty work?Does warranty mean you have to pay? What does warranty not cover?Does warranty mean free repair?Does warranty work if you broke it?How do I claim warranty? What breaks a warranty? How does warranty repair work? http://dlvr.it/Sq1VfV
