They are my accusers, but I give myself to prayer. — Psalm 109:4

King David went through a similar situation. He was being subjected to dreadful allegations that undermined his authority and caused him much distress (Psalm 109:2-4).

What then did David do? Did he utilise his power to have his accuser put to death? Instead, he prayed and pleaded with the Lord to intervene, chastise the liar, and put things right (vv. 4–29).

We might desire to retaliate when someone spreads untrue rumours about us. How much more effective it is to employ the force of prayer to refute our attackers!

Start praying to put an end to a rumour.

Have you ever fallen victim to unfounded allegations?

How can you respond in a way that best represents Christ?

What lessons can be drawn from Romans 12:17–21?

=======================================================================

 How do you defend accusations?

How do innocent people respond to accusations?

How do you respond to someone accusing you of stealing?

How do you respond to false cheating accusations?

How do I defend myself from cheating allegations?

What do you say to someone who accuses you of lying?

How do you confront someone about lying?

How do you make someone who is lying tell the truth?

What is a nice way to say someone lies?

What do you call someone who is not genuine?

What do you call someone who hides the truth?

What do you call someone who refuses to accept the truth?

What do you call a person who always tells lies?

What to do when someone lies to you?

How do you outsmart a liar?

How do liars react when confronted?

Why do liars get defensive?

Do liars feel guilty?

Why liars are toxic?

Why do liars succeed?

Who do liars target?

Why do liars repeat the question?

How do you stop liars?
