Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. — Romans 12:15

We've all had to endure listening to those who seem to take great pleasure in detailing their difficulties to others. While we may feel bad for them, we also feel bad about having to endure their seemingly never-ending litany of medical ailments.

However, we must pray to the Lord for sufficient Christian love to be sincerely concerned about the concerns of others. Friends who will be good listeners and "weep with those who weep" (Rom. 12:15) are desperately needed in this chaotic society. What consolation and inspiration we may give simply being prepared to listen to someone who is struggling! This has the potential to truly serve Christ.

The Lord Jesus practised healing.

We are able to have a hearing ministry with the aid of the Holy Spirit and a kind and forgiving heart!

We ought to care more in a world that could care less. Give me a kind and empathetic heart.

Jesus resembles Thee, Jesus resembles Thee;

I'm moved by the needs erupting all around me.

filled with infinite compassion.
