Imagine! An inmate in a church! However, it's possible that there are more captives of God's demonic enemy hidden away in the church than we think (2 Timothy 2:26). They might even believe they are living for God although they are actually dead in sin, just like the apostle Paul did before he was converted. Some members of our congregations might not have attained spiritual freedom via trusting in Jesus Christ.
Are you being held captive or were you freed?
Real freedom can only be achieved in submission to Christ. God freely grants eternal life to everyone who trusts in His Son. Salvation is not something we earn or win.
