What about blessings of the spirit? The holy Word of God is in our hands, and we can read it. We are aware of His atoning grace, are reassured by His Spirit, and are joyfully certain that we will spend eternity with Jesus.
Consider God's mercies and ponder, "Why me?" Your complaining will then give place to praise.
God never runs out of causes for us to thank Him. Do you ever carry a heavy burden of responsibility?
Does the cross you're supposed to carry seem heavy to you?
