The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground. — Genesis 2:7

Man has always been curious about how life first began. Frogs and toads were said to have evolved from the silt of the Nile by the ancient Egyptians. According to Aristotle, mice emerged from damp dirt, and worms arose from dew and slime.

We already know how life first came into existence, so these evolutionary ideas are useless. According to Genesis 1–3, life started when God created the universe. In particular, He created man out of dust and gave him life (2:7). We are not an evolution of simple organisms. Our existence is not the result of a molecular mishap. A Master Designer who has a plan and a purpose for our lives developed and created us.

Though they have their place, scientific theories are incorrect when they conflict with what the Bible teaches. Let's appreciate and thank our powerful Creator.

The Master Designer is indicated by the design of the universe. The wonders of nature and the treasures of the crystal snows speak of a powerful Creator and the job that His wisdom had prepared.
