Augustine (354–430) consulted astrologers when he was a young man. But as time went on, he became against the custom. Augustine questioned, "Why, in the life of twins—in their actions, the events that befall them, their professions, arts, honors, and other things pertaining to human life, as well as in their very deaths—is there often such a difference that, as far as these things are concerned, many entire strangers are more like them than they are like ea" because astrology presumes that the position of the stars at the time of our birth determines personality and the course of our life.
The God who created both us and the stars is the one who shapes our lives, not the lifeless stars. Our future in Christ has been made clear to us by him in the Bible.
If you believe God is leading, you don't need to know where you're headed. I won't try to predict the future or cloud the present with worries about the future; instead, I'll only beg God for clear guidance from above to show me how my voyage should proceed step by step.
