Jesus issued a warning about the peril of pointing out other people's shortcomings. He advised against trying to take specks out of other people's eyes if one has planks in their own. He urged those who listened to Him to always examine themselves first before criticising others for their shortcomings, choosing humility above hypocrisy.
What might one discover in today's churches?
Others' mistakes must be tolerated; you must be patient with theirs. Grace led me to observe one day
That would be more sage
