This is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men. — 1 Peter 2:15

In our society, we don't need to search very far to find things we don't like. God has a moral code that stands in stark contrast to the crime, immoral behavior, and eroding standards of decency that seem to be prevalent everywhere.

It would be simple to point out the injustices in the world and spend a career criticizing them. However, if we did, people would get tired of hearing from us and finally dismiss us as whiners.

How does this relate to us, then? According to the apostle Peter (1 Peter 2:15), we can silence those who condemn us by doing good. For instance, advocate for positive change and then engage with local stations to make it happen rather than simply criticizing immoral TV content. Don't fight against poverty; instead, actively improve the life of someone who requires assistance.

Let's establish a reputation for being people who are both for and against the good.

A small example can have a significant impact. While we might wish to condemn our dysfunctional society, we ought to act positively in order to improve the negative things we observe.
