Learning readiness is a sign of development and experience. The Hebrew word for learning in this phrase implies "a taking in." Proverbs 1:5 says, "A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel."
We need not be afraid to let go of outdated beliefs and embrace new ones that better understand the Scriptures if we want to increase in our understanding of God and learn to please Him. New ideas are welcomed by those who are seeking wisdom. They will put them to the test using biblical principles, either to reinforce existing beliefs or to deepen their understanding.
God teaches us through His Word and the people around us, and we need to be receptive to what He has to say. Do we test, test, test, and learn?
Remove pride to make way for wisdom. When was the last time you acknowledged a mistake?
Why is doing it so difficult? What have you discovered?
from a fellow believer recently?
