 According to a calculation, if the widow's two mites had been deposited in a bank and earned 4% interest compounded semiannually, it would now be worth $4.8 trillion. What potential exists in such a tiny investment when given time to develop! 

More significantly, that widow's 2-mite investment is still producing offspring today. How many of God's people were inspired by that woman's sacrifice and dared to emulate her will only be known in eternity. 

Some people may have made a commitment to practising better financial management. Others might have been serving Christ and His kingdom by giving of themselves and their talents.

How can we even begin to gauge the immeasurable worth of all the good that such selfless work has generated throughout the ages? When what they offer reflects sacrifice, devotion, and love for Christ, even the poorest and least gifted Christians can invest in eternity.

Do not undervalue the impact that even our little efforts can have on the cause of Christ. The actual millionaires of this world will only be known in eternity. Shall we be one of them?

More significant than the gift's size is the giver's intention. If you can't donate $1,000,000,

And anything you can do for Jesus.

is priceless in His eyes.
