This is how a Christian's life ought to be lived. The position of highest prominence belongs to Jesus because He is the King of kings. We naturally appreciate and adore people who serve the Lord, as well as our family, friends, and colleagues. However, the Lord Jesus must come first! He must always be at the centre of our devotion. It's very easy to lose sight of the Saviour with all the things that vie for our attention, including the work and programmes of the church.
May we never lose sight of the King who is worthy of our adoration and adulation, Jesus. The celestial choirs are singing, "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour" (Rev. 4:11). Let's join them. Yes, Christ is the most important person.
Everything is put into perspective when we concentrate on Christ. Then let us adore Him and give Him what is rightfully His: all glory, power, knowledge, and might; all honour and blessing from heaven; never-ending thanks; and endless love.
