Do all you can to support and encourage your pastor if he faithfully preaches God's Word and makes an effort to live an exemplary life. No pastor is flawless, of course, and occasionally a gentle reprimand may be required (1 Timothy 5:20). However, a pastor is entrusted with great duty (Heb. 13:17), and a godly man is deserving of respect and financial assistance (1 Tim. 3:1; 5:17–18).
When his congregation supports him, a pastor can lead best. When we entrust them to the Lord and pray for them, we provide the help pastors need for the burdens they must carry.
