Yes, there is a highway to heaven, but once you pass away, you can't drive a Corvette on it. While you are still living, you must travel this route, and the only way to do so is by putting your faith in Jesus Christ.
Paul said that the route to heaven is not difficult to identify or to access in Romans 10:1–13. The Bible clearly lays out this truth for us. According to Jesus Christ, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). He bore the punishment for our sins, overcame the grip of death by His resurrection, continues to live in heaven as our Advocate and Intercessor, and welcomes those who put their faith in Him as their Saviour and Lord onto the road to heaven.
It doesn't matter if you're buried in a Corvette or not. On this side of death, there is a clear door that leads to the roadway to paradise. In the words of the Bible, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). What path are you travelling on?
You must follow the path of the Cross in order to reach paradise. There are only a handful of ways to heaven, according to God's Word: confessing Christ Jesus as your Saviour and placing your faith in God the Son alone.
