In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. — Genesis 1:1

 Talk about a strong introduction! Nothing compares to what the Bible says. Genesis 1:1 provides a brief solution to the age-old question of the universe's creation. The glorious One who is the source of it all is introduced to us in that first line, which is much more significant.

It seems natural to open the Bible at the beginning and read the tale of how the eternal God spoke the universe into existence as we begin yet another new year.

Of fact, the Bible gives us many different descriptions of the Almighty in addition to God as the Creator. Because of this, it could be a good idea to use the new year to learn more about God.

In this outstanding first chapter, for example, we are astounded by His strength as He walks across the surface of the globe, shaping it as He pleases and populating it with plants, animals, and humans.

Why not make a special effort to get to know God better as the year goes on? The most effective approach to achieve this is to read the Bible daily and consider what it reveals about God."Genesis 1 introduced you to Him as the majestic, all-powerful Creator, but He is much more than that.

Make use of this year to get to know God better than ever.

Ask the Author of the Bible to help you open your heart as you read it. As God's word to us, the Bible
through all the ages, still fresh;
But if we want to discover, we must read.
the knowledge found there.
