. . . always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. — 2 Timothy 3:7

Learning may easily result in pride and a refusal to admit any limitations on our mental ability, despite the fact that the pursuit of information is admirable. The biblical truth is disregarded when that occurs.

So what is the reality of reality? The wise king of ages past declared, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge" (Prov. 1:7). We have to understand the connection between God and the truth. Man will always be "learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Timothy 3:7) without the assistance of God's Spirit and the guidance of God's Word.

But we shall be delivered from spiritual ignorance and error when we embrace and obey His truth (John 8:32; 17:17). Because of this, we need to study the Bible diligently (2 Timothy 2:15). The truth about truth is revealed in this book alone.

Study the written Word if you want to know Christ, the Living Word. Holy Bible, Book of God, Precious Treasure, you are mine. You are mine to explain to me who I am and where I come from.
