As a follower of Christ, I am a "fisher of men." According to Matthew 28:19–20, the Lord Jesus gave me the mandate to preach the gospel and inform others of God's beautiful, atoning love for all people.
I also reflected about the proverb "Life's short" It is! just how rapidly 10, 20, or 30 years go by. Our kids are starting school, graduating, getting married, and having kids all too quickly. All too soon, those friends and family members we always wanted to share the gospel with have passed away.
Life is indeed short. So let's "fish hard" to lead people to Jesus as His devoted disciples.
Fishing for souls is a seasonless endeavor.
