If someone who rejects Christ can recognize this, then Christians need to have the same insight. The apostle Paul praised the Corinthian Christians for punishing a man for immoral behavior without holding back (2 Cor. 2:6). And as soon as the criminal apologized, Paul urged them to completely pardon him (vv. 7–10).
