Paul's exhortation to live in harmony does not imply that believers would agree on all matters. He does, however, encourage sincere attempts to "keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
According to Ephesians 4:4-6, Christians are members of one body, one spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father. Debatable topics are less likely to cause division when this unity is accompanied by humility, kindness, longsuffering, and loving tolerance (v. 2).
The foundation for our interconnectedness is our oneness with Christ. Although we frequently feel the need to convince people of our position, we must accept the different opinions that our Christian brothers have to offer.
