Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. — Psalm 56:3

I started to consider how people deal with their concerns after that. Some people turn to food, others to booze, and still others to busyness. The psalmist provided us with a more effective remedy for the issue of fear. He uttered the words, "Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You" (56:3). It's unfortunate when we seek comfort or relief from our suffering from sources other than the Lord.

We can have faith that our heavenly Father sees us in our struggles and will provide for us if we have placed our faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ. We can put our faith in the Lord throughout difficult circumstances.

He wants us to call on Him so that He might comfort us and uplift us via His presence.

Today, when you rest in the Lord and put your trust in Him, you will be able to join the psalmist in saying, "Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You."

Let faith open your door when fear comes knocking. Nothing is hidden from His all-seeing eye, not even a tear or sigh; you never need to be anxious or troubled—trust Him entirely and doubts will go.
