Count it all joy when you fall into various trials. — James 1:2

Have you recently encountered challenging circumstances? Have you been overcome with fear and grief because of a disaster? God doesn't want you to have a smiley, hypocritical face. He does, however, want you to put your trust in Him despite everything, including disasters! He wants you to view setbacks, adversity, and loss as chances to develop in your faith and obedience.

Our heavenly Father, who is both wise and loving, longs for us to submit to His absolute authority. We can only concur with James and celebrate even in tragedy if we do that.

Trials in life should improve us, not make us resentful. Despite the difficult circumstances,
As worries swell like a flood,
He is held to by this lovely assurance: My God is near and merciful.
