The home where a husband and wife, parents and kids live together in love and harmony for the Lord and each other is the closest thing on earth to heaven. The closest thing on earth to hell is an evil household ruined by sin and transgression, where parents fight and argue and children are left to the devil and all evil forces.
The family is the smallest whole social unit on earth, according to God's wisdom. The family is the foundation of the nation, civilization, and the entire planet.
No nation has ever achieved greater moral, intellectual, or spiritual heights than the families that made up that nation.
Therefore, the family and the home must be the focal point of all efforts to raise moral and spiritual standards in society and fight violence, infidelity, and crime. Anywhere else, farther down the line, is where these issues can only be temporarily addressed. It can never be a cure; it can only serve as a constraint.
Our country will continue to decline morally and spiritually as long as the homes of our people—that is, our parents—do not come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The fundamental unit of society is the home. Bless that home where faith abounds and everyone has resolved to trust in God, continue to serve Him, and carry out His holy will every day!
