He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs. — Acts 1:3

 According to the Bible's account of events, Jesus "presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs" (Acts 1:3). Luke's claim is more than just historical. It is a challenge to everyone who questions the veracity of the Lord Jesus Christ's physical resurrection. Luke stated the astounding and shocking claim that Jesus was alive, that a large number of people had seen Him, and that His resurrection had been supported by a large number of persuasive evidence.

No other biblical concept has faced more vehement criticism over the past two centuries than the physical resurrection of our Lord. And it should be, as it forms the cornerstone of the grand edifice that is all Christian doctrine.

The entire foundation of Christian belief rests on the resurrection of Jesus. Christianity would perish in the dust and gain less regard than the worst myths of classical Greece and Rome if the resurrection could be proven false.

Since the devil is aware of this, His bodily resurrection is the subject of his first and most frequent attacks against the reality of Christ. The "many infallible proofs" that Jesus is alive are what give our Christian faith its credibility.

We need not be afraid of death since Christ is alive. The life and the empty tomb are in Christ.

declares His suzerain arm;

Likewise, those who put their faith in Him

Neither hell nor death shall harm.
