Your book is a "gospel,"
An entire chapter every day, with your actions and your words;
Men read your writing,
Whether disbelieving or sincere;
What, exactly, do you believe the "gospel" to be?
However, occasionally we use scratchy pens to write. Perhaps it is so blurry and illegible that it is impossible to understand what God is saying.
Hannah More, a notable gospel witness in 19th-century England, experienced occasional discouragement over the calibre of her spiritual handwriting. She penned numerous hymns and tracts and set up schools for the unevangelized poor, but she didn't think she was very effective.
However, we don't need to give up. Even scratchy pens like you and me can be used by God, the great Author, to spread His message to others in our immediate vicinity. No of how we feel about our writing, let's continue to write in prayer.
We must allow God to work through us rather than doing his bidding.
