Each of us needs to evaluate if we are wasting the money God has given us on useless things. If that's the case, we should follow what Jesus said in Luke 16:9, "I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings" (NIV).
We get eternal benefits when we use our resources to help others, particularly when we share the gospel with them. They might be waiting for us at heaven's entrance one day. Be good stewards of the resources God has given us.
When we utilise our wealth to bless other people, it has eternal value. God wants us to be generous in taking care of the needs of others if we have been endowed with wealth.
