We are in an era of fear because of the atomic bomb. Leaders in science and diplomacy, who are typically composed, are uneasy and, to be honest, apprehensive about the future. It's amazing how certain modern scientists have adopted the authority of preachers and turned into doomsday prophets!
With the destructive potential to carry out all the catastrophic judgements foretold in Scripture passages like Revelation 16:17-21 or the equally deadly words of Revelation 8:7-9, "A third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up," man has produced an atomic Frankenstein. Then, a third of the sea turned red. Additionally, a third of the ships were lost, along with a third of the marine life.
Only one thing is certain to be unshakeable in this day and age. The Bible is the only source we can rely on, and we can be sure that it "will by no means pass away" (Mt. 24:35). Have you erected your spiritual home on the eternal truths of the Bible?
