From you the word of the Lord has sounded forth. — 1 Thessalonians 1:8

However, it is even more important to share our trust in Christ while we are still alive. As admirable as it is to leave such a strong testament to one's religion when we die, this must be done now.

Thessalonica's converts responded to Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy's testimony by following in their footsteps, and as a result, "the word of the Lord sounded forth" beyond Macedonia and Achaia (1 Timothy 1:6–8). Likewise, we will have a lasting impact on our world as we share the gospel via our words and deeds.

Living a life for God creates a lasting impression. Since some people have never heard the message of salvation from God's own holy Word, I like sharing the tale.
