Imagine coming across that amount of money. What would you think? Imagine winning 100 times as much.
How does all that money stack up against the kind of wealth Ephesians 1 describes? We are spiritually wealthy if we have placed all of our faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Do we acknowledge it?
Our daily worries might make us oblivious to what it means to know the Son of God, the promise of His mission, the wealth of His inheritance, and the ability He possesses to meet our needs (Eph. 1:18–19). It is simple to feel envious of folks who stumble upon infinitely less than the eternal riches we possess due to bills and thoughtless aspirations.
Father, pardon us for our apathy and doubt. Reopen these eyes, which are much in need of seeing the immeasurable treasures You have provided for us via Your Son, Jesus Christ.
It is far preferable to be wealthy in God than in material possessions.

However, God counts you as impoverished;
Only he actually possesses wealth.
