We know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully. — 1 Timothy 1:8

Ten rules for computer users have been proposed by the Computer Ethics Institute. The laws comprise:

* It is forbidden to use a computer to hurt others.

* You are not permitted to look at other people's computer files.

* You must not use or copy proprietary software that you haven't paid for.

* You must always conduct yourself when using a computer so as to show concern and respect for other people.

Many of us have used computers frequently enough to recognize the need for such regulations. But we might also come to understand that simply passing rules won't alter human nature. These concepts mimic the Law of Moses, which was never able to alter anyone's heart. By abiding by the commandments, no one can become virtuous.

The ultimate goal of the Law is to reveal to us God's flawless standards and the necessity of Christ. No one else has been made to pay for our pardon. There is no one else who gives us the ability to love "from a good conscience, and from sincere faith" (1 Timothy 1:5).

By guiding us to uphold the Law, Christ does not transform us (Gal. 3:1–5). He gives us a fresh heart to change us. And even how we utilize computers will be impacted by it.

A changed heart leads to a changed life. Ideate about it

Will attempting to be good enough get anyone into heaven? Exactly why not? (Romans 3:23; 2:8–9).

* How can I make God happy? (Gal. 5:16-26).
