King Solomon was overcome by the realization that he would never be able to build a temple that would be completely sufficient for the Lord. "Who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him?" he shouted in wonder. (2 Chr. 2:6).
God Himself contains the solution to the king's query. God created an earthly house for Himself by the miracle of Jesus' birth centuries after Solomon constructed a temple for the Lord (Heb. 10:5).
Thank God that He reached out to us through His Son, Jesus!
