Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” — John 11:25

Imagine you were looking for a new faith. Wouldn't you want to serve a powerful higher entity that was capable of doing amazing things? Wouldn't you desire a religion that offered excellent benefits in the afterlife? Wouldn't you want the main figurehead of this religion to be totally dependable and able to absolve you of your sins?

Would be.

However, I recently heard of a religion that lacks all of those attributes but is practiced by a lot of people. According to this doctrine, "God is the beauty and the soft side of things" and "the higher power of each person." "Life ceases to exist when you're dead," it states. And the main character? Jesus! However, He is merely referred to as "a great master of light."

Consider the major world faiths. How many provide an all-wise, all-powerful, and loving God? How many people offer the promise of heaven? How many offer salvation from the penalty and influence of sin? They make a lot of claims, but they never fulfill them. Their assertions are false.

Consider this: Those who place their faith in Christ serve an all-knowing, all-loving God. They have a Savior who guarantees eternal life and delivers them from sin. It is the only religion in the world that is not a creation of man. Why compromise on quality for less?

Only Christ can transform; religion can only educate and reform. Why not trust in Christ today? God sent His Son to die for us; no other life would have sufficed.

Take the gift He has given you.
