Jacob prayed for a blessing and would not let go of the Man until his request had been fulfilled until he recognized that the Man he was wrestling with was God in human form. God praised that tenacity. You have fought with God and with men, and you have won, the Lord said to Jacob (v. 28).
God cannot be coerced or used for our own gain. But if what we ask for is in His will, we can "wrestle" with Him by remaining persistent in prayer. It might be time to engage in a bit more wrestling.
You are going to a King, so bring big requests. Because of His grace and might, no request is ever too big.
