Thankfully, these mistakes are infrequent. But they frequently happen in the spiritual world. Many people would assert that they will be saved if they are serious in their efforts. No matter how correct it may seem, it is "the way of death" (Proverbs 14:12) because they assume that their good deeds will get them to heaven. I am the way, the truth, and the life, said Jesus. No one is able to reach the Father except from Me (John 14:6).
Avoid the error of being sincere but sincerely mistaken. Ask Jesus to save you right now as you confess your sin and guilt to God.
All other paths lead to destruction; Christ is the only way to heaven. No other name than Jesus Christ, the rising Lord, the One they crucified, can save me.
