Jesus took some time to flee. He travelled to the desert to relax and reflect on John the Baptist's passing, and He also stopped at a mountain to pray (Mk. 6:14–31,46).
It seems that when God talks, we pay closer attention since there are fewer outside distractions. It's wise to set aside some time to take a vacation in light of this. Take some time to withdraw, even if it's just to a park in the city or a table at a restaurant. After then, communicate to God and allow Him to uplift you.

The world is off limits when you are alone with God. What a blessed retreat!
Alone with God and concealed within Him, to hold lovely communion with Him.
