Some Christians believe that if they construct a stunning structure, erect a sign, and publish an advertisement in the newspaper, the unsaved will swarm to their church. But that's simply not how it works. The gospel has an impelling message that holds us accountable for our friends and neighbours. We must seek out and draw in the lost sinners.
Don't fall into the trap of thinking that only missionaries in distant lands are subject to Jesus' order to go. The good news of salvation is to be spread throughout all of God's children. What a tragedy it would be if we failed to share the gospel with our own neighbours!
