It only makes reasonable that we would do everything in our power to maintain our health. In the end, however, everyone of us must utter the words, "I trust in You, O Lord; my times are in Your hand" (Ps. 31:14–15).
We need to make sure that we are prepared to leave because any day, even today, could be our last day on earth. Do you?
We can only live if we are willing to die. While this life is still ours, Lord, may we now prepare so that death never comes and catches us off guard. Regardless of our age or health, none of us can predict exactly when each of us will experience his or her final day on earth.
