I'm curious about the apostle's statements. Could I honestly say that I have a healthy indifference for the situation? (Phil. 4:11). How frequently do I celebrate the Lord? (4:4). Do I devote my life in service to Christ with the thought that it would be more preferable to pass on and be with Him? (1:21-23).
When you put Christ first, you experience lasting joy. Lord Jesus, you are the only one who can truly offer joy because you understand the anguish that exists in the human heart. You came from glory to seek and save people, and out of love for sinners, you endured a cross once for sin.
