"There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12) applies to sinners. According to Philippians 2:9, "the name which is above every name" is Jesus. All of us are born with sin. It is impossible for us to ever save ourselves (Eph. 2:8–9). Our predicament is dire. Calling on Jesus, who promises to deliver us from all of our sin, is the only way out. We must, however, ask Him.
Who are you? Do you invoke His name?
Who you know is what matters most while trying to enter paradise. No other name than Jesus Christ, the rising Lord, the One they crucified, can save me.
